Cleavage.

We all know the word cleavage, and what it refers to. Some of us have even heard of toe cleavage. For those that haven’t, it’s when the curve of your shoes around your toes is a little shorter. Which then shows the line between your toes. Hence, toe cleavage.

 

I don’t really ever show cleavage…it’s a little hard to do when you don’t have much cleavage hah. But I’ve realized lately that there is a new bit of skin that I have a fascination with showing. It’s the ankle flash and J. Crew is actually pretty good at it. Mostly seen with skinny pants or chinos with ankle boots.

DDay…eh ehm, I mean VDay.

I'm not the biggest fan of Valentine's Day. Maybe because I have always been single on the day, or maybe because I'd rather have the lovingly chosen item on a day when the rest of the world isn't getting the same treatment…I'm selfish like that I guess. 

To go with my mood on Valentine's Day, I found some of my favorite Valentine's Day cards.

If I got one of these, it would make me smile or even laugh out loud. But the typical run of the mill cards that are all lovey-dovey are a little past their prime in my opinion. You can only say the same things in the same way so many times. Ya know?

NCLEX Results.

I promised some people that I'd post this whether I passed or failed…so here it goes...

Deep Breathe with Kate.

I arrived early to take my test, which is honestly better than arriving late hah so no complaints here. I'm nervous and anxious, as usual with big tests. I tend to look at the worst case scenario and if I can give that silver lining then it's all good...and I have and in the end, it will all be okay. 

What's that saying, "In the end it will all be okay, and if it's not, then it isn't the end." I worked hard the past year and a half, harder than I have ever had to. That in itself is an accomplishment. This is the test that I will have to take everything I've learned and try to prove that I'm the nurse that you want taking care of you. (In all honesty, I'm awesome, so you should want me taking care of you even if I don't pass) ;) 

But anyhow, deep breaths, encouraging messages from family and friends, and prayers are getting me through today and I love you all for it. You guys are amazing. 

Also, I know God is with me today. He gave me this gray and dreary day to calm me. This weather is my favorite and He knows it. So thankful for Him and His ways of showing me that He is with me.
